They are the two opposing ( though complement ) currents or forces in the universe, which manifest in our body. The purpose of hatha yoga is to establish perfect harmony between these two pranic flow / current. And when they are balanced, prana (life force) will begin to flow freely and we gain perfect health.
In Hatha Yoga we always move in to opposite directions, and by searching for the right direction Harmony is created.
The main focus is on our breath. The breath goes where there is space for, and where it is needed.

Yin yoga is a QUITE, CONTEMPLATIVE practice, which works deeply into our body with LONG - HELD, PASSIVE, FLOOR POSES. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer.
Yin yoga targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues - ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia networks of the body - rather than the muscles (which are the physical focus of a more dynamic and invigorating `Yang` yoga practices).
Energetically, Yin Yoga opens the body’s meridian system, which enhances the body’s energetic flow and supports emotional equilibrium.
And as this practice emphasizes stillness and silence, Yin Yoga prepares both the body and the mind for deeper experiences in meditation.
During the YOGA session we use ( not mandatory) THERAPEUTIC GRADE ESSENTIAL OILS to enhance the practice. Essential oils provide a true vibrational healing tool. They subtly complement the yoga practice as they affect the mood and emotions on a conscious and subconscious level. The oils can help us to be more focused, grounded, centered or to be more relaxed. They help us activate and balance our energy centers (chakras) and to practice in a deeper level.
